U.S. Mat & Rubber Corporation has been in business since 1971. We started this company with no capital and in three years sales were 5 million dollars.

In 1974 we purchased a company in Calhoun, GA that produced vinyl backed carpet matting. Then we were one of three companies chosen by the government to represent the country in a trade show in England.

Mats and Matting Product Development

U. S. MAT innovated several products, such as DRAINAGE MATS for commercial kitchens and other areas where grease, oil and water require drainage and a safe slip-resistant floor.

The DIAMOND PLATE pattern began when the company adapted the steel diamond-plate design onto vinyl and rubber compounds.

U. S. MAT manufactures a wide line of anti-fatigue mats that are used in industry, commercial areas, barber and beauty establishments, anywhere people work while standing.

We offer a wide line of safety products for protection against electric shock, dissipation of harmful static electricity, slip resistant products (protects against slippage and falling).

We also specialize in products that carry logos, monograms, messages or advertising. Wall-to-wall indoor or outdoor carpeting in widths of up to 13'2" and lengths of up to 68' - 82' in one piece or in tiles of 18" x 18" square.
